Of course not, unless you are the bird. Imagine how frantic and scared you must be, trapped in unfamiliar surroundings and all you want to do is just to go back to your babies waiting with hungry mouths? Turn down the lights and TV or radio. Try to keep the windows and doors open so eventually the poor creature can find her way out. You may gently urge the bird towards a bright opening because sudden moves will panic the bird. Once outside, her GPS will guide her home, and you will have helped another God's creature and the world will be a happier place. You will sleep better and your friends will admire you for your kindness. Trust me on that.
Only if it poops on you~
Yes it is very bad luck when a bird gets into your house. It is next to impossible to sleep knowing there is a bird with a razor sharp beak nearby ready to peck and jab you in a heartbeat. You could lose an eye or other body part and never be the same person after. Good luck to you.
