What Animal Is Better At Eating Grass To Keep A Field Down? Horses, Donkeys Or Goats

Hi there,
We have all of the above...horses, miniature goats and miniature donkeys.  Goats will do very well, and like to eat most everything including many weeds that the horses will leave behind.  Horses will overgraze and need a very large area.  Horses are very hard on fields and paddocks and we do a lot of maintenance including taking the horses off the paddocks for several weeks for the paddocks to recover.  The horses manure needs picked up or spread, or it will kill any grass under it.  I would go for the goats.  Hope this helps.

Horses are fast and Pecice at eating grass, but you have to feed them after they've eaten everything(which happens pretty fast)
