Will exotic animals kill you for no reason?

Some will. Exotic animals are badass like that.

But in all seriousness, yes wild animals could kill you for no apparent reason. There are a lot of factors. Some might lash out when they feel threatened, you might be giving off signals that you didn't even know (like try making sudden movements behind a big cat and see how they react...it's engrained in their biological traits to react before evaluating who or what is behind them in situations like that).

Wildlife authority, Harry Butler,  speaking on Australian TV once said, "Snakes are perfectly safe. You can walk by one and it will not bite you. Unless, for some snaky reason you couldn't possibly understand, it's in a bad mood. Then it will attack."

I guess the same thing applies to other animals as well. It might be safest to give them a wide berth.
