Yes, not mine, but a friend has a golden lab that jumps in the tub when it hears gunfire or fireworks. It comical, you go into the restroom to use it and hear breathing and rustling coming from the tub, pull back the curtain and there's Luke hiding in the tub.

I have a friend whose dog does that and not only for fireworks but for thunderstorms as well. Mine plant themselves on top of me.

Last night thankfully no one on my street set any off. There were plenty a block or more away. I gave my dogs a couple of Benadryl around 8:30 when they started making noise around here. Around 11:00 the noise was getting closer and they dogs got jumpy. I gave them each a couple of sprays of Rescue Remedy and they both laid right down and slept through the night.

No, that's original, pretty smart dog. My dog doesn't even wince at the noise. My previous dog would go bonkers when he heard fireworks and would hide under the bed.
