I'm not sure how often Lizards eat, but did you have someone feed ur Lizard, while you were away?
If not, he may be upset that he wasn't fed for a week. I would try spending extra time with him, make sure his home is clean & he has fresh water. (Make sure all his needs & wants are fulfilled.).
Do Lizards get treats??? If so, maybe give him a few extra, for a few days. Do you hold him??? Hold him a little more often & talk nice to him, in a soothing voice. Bottom line give him extra attention, & I think that will do the trick!!!
