Interestingly, the first mention of unicorns apparently comes from the Indus Valley civilisations who existed around 3300–1300 BC, in an area which is now modern day Afghanistan/Pakistan.

Unicorns, just like dodo birds, once existed, but they weren't magical horses that farted rainbows and gold dust. Just a regular horse with one horn.
