I once wrote a very short story about a planet named Lepreq whose inhabitants were called Leprequans. They were ruled by King Bryan and had crocks of gold. They also had a gift for blarney and for pulling the wool over the eyes of visiting diplomats.
But, no, they weren't real, more's the pity.
I know I'm always on the lookout for leprechauns, but they're a clever lot :)
Yes, we call them trolls now.
There is a trick to see leprechauns. You need to: Get undressed, walk outside, and do cartwheels. And with any luck... Indeed you will have summon a leprechaun!
But there bad to have around the house so try not to let them in. They even get slightly annoying after a while, depending on their personality.
