My puppy won't eat, finally got him to drink a little and has been sleeping all day. His tummy felt hot. I've been keeping him cool. Yesterday lots of play time and heat also drank some pool water. Is he going to be ok?

It sounds like you need some professional advice to make sure your puppy has not got an internal infection. A local pet shop might be able to steer you in the right direction, although if the condition persists a Vet should be consulted.

Probably a mild infection. Good luck.

Hi. I hear your problem. I have had dogs for years and my vets bills used to be horrendous. I love my animals so much that i just wanted to take care of them as well as I could.
But after many years i started to get a bit worried that I was giving them so much medication, Knowing that the medications you are giving your dog are probably only treating their symptoms and not their real problems?
I was also getting to be concerned that the drugs that I was giving them may have serious side effects.
So I started searching around for something that might help me to both heal them in a more natural way, without loads of manufactured drugs, and also to do things like adjust their diet to be able to help them live a longer, healthier, happier life.
So after alot of research I came accross a book by Sara Rooney, who is a fully qualified Naturopathic Physician, Zoologist and Research Scientist from South Australia, and I was really impressed with all the help and advice that this book gave me, so much so, that I really follow it very closely with all my animals now, and they all semm much healthier and happier.
