Does anyone know what to do about insect bites?

Insect bites usually swell up as they is toxin or bacteria from the insect biting you , there are creams that help get rid of the swelling and help it become normal , you can also put an ice pack on it , or just leave  it and try to keep it from infection , I don't really know how to deal with it but if it was me I would do one of these things good luck :)
