Well I think that some elephants are completly harmless . Why ? Because you can see that elephants are sometimes you know ... Cute , adorable , and calm right ? But they could hurt people  don't get me wrong . O.k , I luv elephants .elephants weigh more than a  ton , they could hurt us humans by their weight ,and tusks .but they do not mean to hurt anyone .they are just .... Um ... Protecting themselves and  or others .they could also do hurt us by ...maybe something is wrong in their habitat or in them .  They couldn't do it for fun . So my answer is in between YES and NO. YES; they could do damage to others and cut you open ,but they are protecting themselves ..NO; they do not mean to hurt anybody ok.elephants are not there to mess with you  they are there to make a living and make a change in our enviorment. So if you are scared of them go online and find out more about them ,go to the zoo ,our see somebody that had some time with them  ,oops I also forgot check in books if you want ,so think about it ! ( ask your teacher if she could you some info)   toodles

Elephants can be very dangerous. They are extremely large animals.  They have the ability to crush a human.  And with any wild animal , you should aways assume they have the potential at any time to become dangerous, unless you are an animal expert, and you know the  way the animal  acts , to recognize when a animal is upset  , or annoyed , their behavior , such as, when   Male elephants  go through  what they call musth, which is a form of "heat" that means they are ready to mate. During this time, they are very aggressive and will attack almost anything that moves.so ,I believe they are dangerous they can hurt humans and they have hurt humans. There are plenty of statistics to back up that statement   human injuries and deaths from elephants. . So my answer is yes they are dangerous. .
