Yes because you can end up (I know this sounds stupid)with cat scratch fever. And you don't want that!!! What that is swelling of the scratch,swelling of the sore,and a fever,and it can lead up to a coma.my husbands brother had that happened to him.and he did not go to the hospital he almost did end up in a coma his fever was so high.so PLEASE go have it looked at and good luck and will be thinking of you.
