For what? Food? Service? Medical experiments? Pets? As entertainment? Animals, in my opinion, are others that we share this earth with. I wish we would treat them the same way we SAY we should treat other people, with kindness, respect and caring for their welfare. I'm not trying to turn this into a religious discussion (heaven help us) just explaining that I don't personally buy that line. So, no on food, yes on service and pets, no on medical experiments. Yes and no on entertainment. Though a rodeo fan for years, I have come to the conclusion that some of the practices are not kind to animals and no longer approve of those. I do believe however that a lot of rodeo is possible without using unkind treatment to people or animals. The same would be true of all kinds of animal entertainment, whether in movies or in shows.
