YES! A cow really did get stuck down a drain in Chile! Just outside the Chilean city of Santiago.
The bull spent two days trapped in the tiny drainage shaft, after having somehow fallen through the relatively small opening left by an open manhole cover.
Figuring out how to get the bull out of the minute hole proved just as baffling as working out how the bull got down there in the first place, and local vets and rescue workers were left scratching their heads after rushing to the scene. Eventually, it was decided that the use of diggers to carve a six-foot trench in the earth would be the best course of action.
The bewildered bovine was eventually hauled out of the hole unharmed and lifted to safety, locals still perplexed as to how the young bull managed to get into its sticky situation in the first place.
