If it is like my dog....she's a pit bull....she tends to get worked up when she plays....turns pretty red...think its a blood pressure or heart problem and it makes me worry but just watch it if it happens without any exertion than I'd have her checked. My pup has an irregular heartbeat too.... But seems real healthy and happy. Good Luck
