Hi, we just got our "Boxter"  Daphne.  She is now 9 weeks old, we got her at 6 weeks.  She has been a really fun, loving and intelligent puppy.  She demands companionship as often as possible and insists on being a part of everything we do, but is very happy with her crate when we are gone.  She sleeps in bed with us and has(since we are in Baltimore and we have had such a harsh winter) learned to use puppy pads. She comes after the loss of our 11 1/2 year old chocolate lab weimaraner mix, so our 3 year old cat has not quite adjusted to a dog that wants so much attention, but she has stopped hissing every time she sees her walk by.  I think we have made a good choice, but the vet has warned us she will need surgery to open her nasal passages as they are very narrow.  So as you can see after 3 weeks we are in love and encourage you to look into the mix, she is sweet and lovable and loves to be with people and pets. Good luck!

My Boxer/Boston mix is 4 1/2 years old.  Her name is Paisley and she looks like a black and white boxer.  She is about the size of a small female Boxer and weighs 50 lbs.  My son was told she would only weigh about 35 lb!  She is a sweetheart and definitely has a Boxer personality!

I have a boston/boxer mix.  My boston terrier is the mom and my boxer is the dad.  My mix of the two looks like a brindle miniature boxer with her ears pointing up.( I did not have them clipped). Bostons ears automatically stand erect and of course boxers have to be clipped.  I did not have his ears clipped.  She's really beautiful and unique looking.  The mom was pregnant with six, however only this one was saved by c-section.  This was not intentional breeding.  The size difference could have killed my boston.  Never thought this would happen.  They always ignored each other.  Anyways, her name is Abigail Grace, "Abby".  Post if you are still interested in seeing pics and I'll post them.

I have a litter of Boston Terrier/ Boxer mix puppies. From what I  can tell they are called Mini Boxers or Boxtons. I own  the mom -boston ter. And the dad- boxer and they are both AKC registered. This WAS NOT supposed to happen!! I lost 2 during delivery even after I took mama to vet but I do have 5 healthy fat dark brindle pups, 3 weeks old. I want to sell them just trying to figure out how much! They can and will be registered with ACHC by the time they are to be sold. I can't wait to see when they get a little older but can't imagine a better dog. The best of two together!

I have a Boston / Boxer, a wonderful mix and a great dog.  Online they are often referred to as Miniature Boxers, I am frequently asked 'Is that a miniature boxer???'.  Of course, Boston owners see her as  a big Boston.  Congratulations on a wonderful dog, and don't worry... They start calming down at about 6 yrs old.  ;)

I have a boston terrier/boxer mix her name is Bella. She is 5 years old and LOVES to play. I play with her for a couple of hours a day. We have bonded so much in one year of just adopting her that now she is my best friend. She even sleeps on my bed! In the night she gets tired that she just walks in my room and I find her on my bed.

We do! His name is Oliver. We rescued him... We were his third home and he was abused as a puppy! He looks like a black and white boxer and is a little smaller than an average boxer. He had a lot of issues from being abused but has come a long way! He is going on a year with us and will be a little less than 2 years old! He is a really great dog. He needs walks and has lots of energy!

I have a boston/boxer mix named Boudreaux. He is about 12 months old. I have pictures, but I don't know how to add them here! He is a wonderful dog, and seems to have inherited the best qualities of both breeds. He is a very good looking guy - appealing to nearly everyone we've met!

Our beautiful Boston and our gorgeous brindle Boxer had a litter of what we call Boxterriers. They were born on July 6, 2009. They are absolutely beautiful puppies. I think their faces look like a boxer. I'm not real sure how big they will get, I guess we will see.

Does anybody know where I can get a boston terrier/boxer puppy? I live in upstate NY Utica/Syracuse area and have been trying to find a "mini boxer" (boxer/boston terrier mix, or some say it is a boxer/pug mix). I have had no luck been a Carlin Pinscher, which looks like a mini rotweiler, so I have been trying to find a mini boxer. If anybody knows where I can possible get one please let me know. Thank you

Well we just got ours yesterday (04-06-2014), she is about 4 years old and looks like a big Boston Terrier . She is approx. 35 lbs. And very affectionate.

We also have a female Cock-A-Poo and a cat, and I am amazed at how well they get along.

I would recommend this dog to anyone without a question. She came to us after being abandoned and taken in by a kind soul who could not keep her but did not want to go the shelter route. So we are her third owners and after one day I could never part with her.

I never thought I would own a Boston Terrier or a Boxer (more of a Heeler or Lab kinda gal) but I saw this little girl at the shelter and could not resist her, she is a Boston Terrier/Boxer mix and absolutely one of the best dogs I've ever had. Her name is Princess Jasmine cuz she is in charge of everything! She is so loving and cuddly, sleeps on the bed (of course) and takes care of the other dogs when they don't feel good or are just down! Wouldn't trade her for anything! I love her so much! Oh, and she is black and white and looks so much like both breeds its hard to separate them in her description! She loves kids, puppies, people, water and her family like crazy! When I got her she was 2 and a half mos. Old and she's almost a year now! And she loves hugs!

I just found out today that a friend of mine knows someone who is trying to get rid of a Boxer Boston Terrier puppy.  I have wanted another dog for a while and am pretty excited to go see it.  We already have a Boxer and I think she would enjoy the company.  I was wondering how big I can expect the mix to get because our current dog is already 70+ pounds and I am thinking it might be a lot to handle if the new puppy gets to that size.  So if anyone has an Idea I would appreciate the feedback.

Usually there isn't a name for a mixed breed, unless it is one that is recognized by a Kennel Club.  For example A Puggle, is a registered mix of a ( Full-Blooded Pug and a Full-Blooded Beagle  ).  Hope this helps.  Good Luck.
