You don't say in which corner of the eye so I assume its in the inner corner where the third eyelid is. There are a few things this could be but it needs to looked at by an expert. Because the  eye is such a sensitive part of the body  I certainly would not advise putting anything into it until a vet has checked it out or you could end up with a far worse situation.

Yeah DO NOT put vinegar in your dogs eye!!  Go see or consult with your vet before doing any kind of home remedy.  It might even be a cyst and not know it.  My dog has had many of them.  Good luck to you and your dog.  Yeah the person who told you to put vinegar in your dogs eye is an idiot.

Well I'm quite an expert on animals and it seems that your dog has seroheptoflora I suggest you put some vinger in his/her eye this is a good treatment it causes the hard bump to soften and decay in time. This should most definitely work. The dog might struggle and yelp because of the pain but if you don't do this procedure it could likely cause permanent blindness to the dogs left/right eye.

Vinegar is acidic and can cause damage if used full strength. Strongly suggest you include photo oe more information about the 'bump' as it could be many other things. Please check definition of 'seroheptoflora' before treating your dog's eye with anything.
