Dlll is right! Black feces equals internal hemorraging and/or heavy bleeding! He could have swallowed something sharp or punctured something. He is obviously in a great deal of pain. Don't feed him anything until you get him to the doctor, unless he becomes seriously dehydrated, but even avoid water.
Please can somebody give me some advice?
My eight month old Staffordshire bull has recently started having tar black stools, he has had all his jabs etc, I have used flea shampoo when I bathed him, my 15 week old female Staffordshire bull has soggy stools, but not black...
My jack russtle is also the same...
I have read that dogs can catch Coronavirus from dogs poo when they ingest it from another dog. Anyone got any tips or advice ?

Black stool usually means blood, please get them to a vet, ASAP. Best wishes.
My dog is 5 years old and last night he became very weak and is now pooping black and can not stand up. What do you think is the cause?
Dark or black stool in dogs means digested blood. This can be due to many reasons like inflammatory gastrointestinal diseases, foreign bodies in stomach, bleeding disorders, infectious agents, cancer, side effects of some medicines, gastrointestinal ulcers, cancer, ingestion of heavy metals, gastrointestinal is chemia, and hemorrhagic gastroenteritis.
Differential diagnosis requires complete blood count, urine analysis, stool analysis, ultrasound, x-rays, and rectal examination. So, it will be good to see a vet for differential diagnosis and accurate treatment.

Black feces = internal bleeding... Get him to a vet hospital immediately!
Oh deer! Get the poor thing to the vet asap better safe then sorry!
It could possibly be parvo. Has your puppy been vaccinated? If so, it could also just mean he is sick. Either way, you need to have it checked out by a vet ASAP. Parvo is a very serious and deadly disease.
My 22 months old dog had surgery for a retaining testicle and was neutered 3 days ago and now his poop is black is this normal?
