Yes. They will eat okra, especially the seeds, but it is not one of their favorite treats. I have 16 chickens of 6 different breeds and they help me recycle most everything from the garden. Just be very limited with acidic fruits or starchy vegetables like potatoes. They just don't have the right nutritional values for layers.
