Yes. I'm pretty sure they are because I had one on my foot the other day and through my sock... It left sharp, what looked like fur in my skin.. And now I have a rash that looks like poison ivy
Are Black Fuzzy Hairy Caterpillars Poisonous?
It depends on what type of fuzzy black Caterpillar it is.
No they are not. We had one for a month and it didn't bite us or anything.
We have 5/10 of the hanging around on the wall out the front of our house, I'm scared to go out the front in case the jump or spit? Should I be worried and try and kill them or just leave them?
I also have those by the side of my house. They are gross. But are they really poisonous. They look like they are because of the prickles.
I don't think so I have one as a pet
