The oldest giant turtle ever to live was Addyaita who was 250 years old when he expired at a Kolkata Zoo on March 24th, 2006.
Turtles, Tortoises and Terrapins basically are reptiles coming from the order Testudines, most of whose body is covered by a unique bony or cartilaginous shell which grows from their ribs.
