Can You Freeze A Fish And Bring It Back To Life?

In the winter, fish will swim to the bottom of a pond and go into a hibernative state. If the water is deep enough, then the fish do not freeze even if the water surface may freeze. I have heard rumor of people intentionally taking their pet koi and keeping them in the freezer for winter, but I do not know if this is true or if the fish can be successfully "thawed out" to swim again.

Believe it or not YES!! I have a pond outside and during the winter it freezes completely and then when it thaws in the warmer weather the fish are fine!! I should add the only fish I have in it are goldfish.

Lol its possible ...I think...I mean I heard that Walt Disney is frozen and they plan on bringing him back to life ...I don't know

No but the lung fish can bury itself under the mud when the droughts come and under the dry water beds when all the water dries up where there used to be a lake size amount of water, there lies a dormant lung fish who can stay like that for up to 2 years. As soon as the water comes again filling the dry water beds the lung fish wakes back up coming alive once again and starts swimming around.
