Your dog weighs and 100 iu of vitamin e for up to 50 lbs., 200 iu if your dog is 50-100 lbs. And 300 iu for over 100 lbs, If you do not see an improvement in two weeks, take your dog to the vet have blood work down, including the thyroid level.
You can use vitamin supplements made for dogs, I always gave my dog eggs....seeing as I raised chickens at the time, eggs were plentiful....I'd just break one on the ground and they'd eat it right up. The dogs coat always looked nice and shiny.
