We have dozens of ducks in our local pond that never leave. They only fly a few feet to get to safety when they get scared.
I've been feeding 2 ducklings now for around 70 days, I've not seen the mother for around 3 weeks now. When will they learn to fly away?
If you would like for them to learn, look for a wildlife or bird rescue in your area and they can give the ducklings the help they need by exposing them to other ducks.
