My Son's Dog Was Strangled Today By His Collar, My Son Brought Him Back To Breathing And Got Him To The Vet. He Was Looking Better And They Brought Him Home But Now He Acts Like He Can't See And He Can Not Really Walk Very Good. What Could It Be?

You are going to have to keep a close eye on him for quite some time, you should take shifts for this first night, and maybe tomorrow. These things are going to be hard on him for a while, since being choked can take they eyes, and the rest of the body will be sore because of the trauma. If he seems to get any worse, I think you should take him back in to be seen again. Sorry this happened, and I hope he gets better. Good luck to you and the pup.

Thanks, I am waiting for an update this morning. I explained what happened above. Just an awful thing to happen. You think he should continue to improve?

I think he will, but like I said, you really need to keep an eye on him.

I think that you need to try and calm down your dogs nerves he might just be a bit shocked. If he is still like thins tomorrow I would  take him back to the vet. Hope your dog gets better.

Thanks, I think they will be taking him back to the Vet this morning. It was a freak accident, his other lab likes to pull this labs collar off. My son was not home and one lab got the other labs collar wrapped around her lower jaw and could not get free. He came home and they were both laying in the snow, one with a bloody mouth stuck in the collar and the other dead. Waiting to hear from him this morning. Thanks for the thoughts.
