Your dog should not be gasping for breath. He may be choking on something, or have something lodged in his throat, or may have a tumor. Gasping is not normal for a dog. Take him to a vet immediately. You are wasting his precious time (AND YOURS) by being online asking this question and hoping a stranger can help you. If you care about your dog, get him the help he needs. He depends on you.
