Actully the gums turn grey because of illness, you must consult your vaterinary clinic as fast as possible......

Gums should be a healthy pink. Red often has to do with dental disease and infection. Pale or greyish or other color gums and you should call the vet right away. If the gums are grey they may not be getting enough oxygen for some reason. Hope your baby is okay.
