Yes they lay eggs, and they do so out of the water in a nest dug on suitable sunny riverbanks during late spring or early summer. Is there any specific turtle or tortoise you need info on?

I was wondering about a green turtle that has yellow on bottom shell. Looked like little green sliders but didn't have red on sides of head. About 1 foot long. It laid eggs on the side of our dirt road. How long before they hatch?
