My dog was snorting and it took a long time to clear,is that anything to worry about and how can I help her?
I would talk to your veterinarian about the snorting. Snorting can be secondary to obesity and conformation issues. Brachycephalic breeds like pugs and bulldogs snort secondary to a series of anatomical abnormalities that are related to the breeds. Reverse sneezing can cause a snorting sound that is a combination of a cough and snort. This occurs secondary to irritation of the nasal passages. A foreign body in the nasal passage can also cause snorting.
If you have a video camera or cell phone tape one of these snorting episodes. Show this tape to your veterinarian and have him examined to make sure this is not related to a disease process.

I sincerely doubt it...every pup I have owned has done it...♥Nassy
