It is believed that slugs have four noses, although they don't have the same type of respiratory system that a human being has so their nose performs a different function to ours.

If by noses you mean a nose like humans have to breathe through , they have none. But they do have appendages (4) that can sense heat and other stimuli, in other words they have 4 sensory organs where there "nose" looks like it should be. But no actual nose.

It is mentioned in the Snapple facts that slugs have four noses but there function is different. They don't use noses to breath they use them to smell chemicals in the water.

Just looked at www.wikipedia.org and that says that there are two upper sensors, that detect or sense light, and the lower, are for smelling with. Hope this helps, no wonder I never really thought my future ex husband was normal. Ugh.

It could depend on how you define a nose. They have tentacles which they use to detect things and find their way, and a separate hole through which they get oxygen (though I think they also get that through their skin.) This diagram might help, and  I also found some interesting facts about slugs (though sadly not their noses!)
