Well you can't really feed a puppy too much. They have so much energy. You don't really need to ration food until about 2 years. Experiment with your puppy and whenever he finishes put another bowl out just to see how much it takes for him to get full. Once you know, just find a happy medium and put out food on a schedule. Usually half a bowl in the morning and half a bowl in the late afternoon is fine.
