It is normal to receive a bump from any place you remove a tick from. Tick you have to remember burry themselves under the skin, so you have to litterally grab them by the head and pull. So when ever you do this it will cause irritation and yes a bump. However if the bump stays for a long period of time after the removing of a tick then I suggest to see your doctor. Also if there is swelling or discoloration then seek medical attention. This could be a sign of a bactirial infection or staphinfection. Other wise yes it is normal to have created a bump from removing a tick.
