There is no hard and fast rule for number of sex required for dog's pregnancy. Sex at the time of ovulation after the bleeding phase during heat cycle in the dogs can lead to pregnancy regardless of tie. Tie in dogs is not necessary for pregnancy. So, sometimes, even single sex can be successful if egg is present at the time of sex. So, it is necessary to keep the female dog engaged in sex until she refuse herself.
