Sled dogs are smart enough to KNOW they are pulling something...so they instinctively KNOW to run. Lol
Why Do Sled Dogs Run?
That's what sled dogs are paid to do!
The successful ones love to run, and it helps keep them warm. The ones who don't like running are traded to people who let them stay indoors and relax.
That's what they're trained for.
If somebody behind you whipped your butt you would run too.
The alpha dog runs so they follow the alpha dog and the alpha dog runs because he is the alpha dog.
