Boxers can go in to heat after every 6-7 months or twice in year. There are also chances that they miss a heat period in a year. But this missing of heat periods will not affect their fertility. Dogs should not be bred after their first heat cycle and it is recommended to wait for 2-3 heat periods before breeding. It is more better to get your dog spay/neutered to avoid many health problems.
