Your Bichon can stay in heat for 2-4 weeks with an average of 3 weeks. During first 7-10 days of her heat periods, you will observe vaginal swelling and bleeding while mating is possible after reduction or cessation of bleeding. In case of pregnancy, there will be a gestation period of 63-65 days. She will come in to heat again after 6-7 months regardless of pregnancy.
