Dogs have deciduous (baby teeth) that are replaced by adult teeth by 6-7 months of age. The adult teeth are permanent teeth. Adult teeth will not re-grow if lost. Dogs are similar to people in this way. Good oral hygiene--brushing teeth at home and preventative dental cleanings are very important for your dog.
