Will Using 'Round-up' Weed Control On A Pasture At The Fence Line Make It Unsafe For Grazing By Horses? If So, For How Long?

Unless you are a photosynthesizing plant, the active chemical in Round Up will not effect on you, mammals like horses do not metabolize it. However, it also contains a surfactant, which is like a detergent, so you should try to be focused as you spray and avoid getting this on grazing material.

If you mixing the the concentrate, know that it breaks down in water and it should be used within one week.

To keep it simple, if the horse can eat the grass you have sprayed keep it off for 7 days.
