DO NOT GIVE YOUR DOG DISTILLED WATER ON A DAILY BASIS!!!
GIVING DISTILLED WATER DAILY IS VERY DANGEROUS!!!!
Distilled water will destroy the body's mineral content & worse, will upset the electrolyte balance in the dog's system leading to potassium deficiencies & heart problems. It sucks vitamins & minerals from the body & flushes them out their system. Giving distilled water to your pet once or twice a week for an internal cleanse/tear stain controller is fine. But, do not, under any circumstances give DISTILLED water to your pet every day. Spring water is fine. I give my Mini Eskie Spring Water only & it controls her tear stains very nicely. So, yeah... Be sure to opt for spring water & if you absolutely need to, only give the distilled water AT MOST 2 times a week.
