Do dog obedience classes work?
If it is conducted by someone who is good at it and the participants take it seriously, then yes.
Make sure to enter into this understanding the "Pack" mentality and how this will affect your dog and you.

Dog obedience is a misnomer. As you really aren't teaching the dog much of anything. The classes are more to teach people how to handle the dog. So as long as you practice what you are taught, the classes work.
