It's the cycle of life, i'm afraid :-(
my dog died in November and we're very much still missing him, even though we have gotten a new puppy a couple months ago.
we took him in to be neutered but the preliminary blood test showed positive for liver disease. We got special food for him, started filtering his water and took him to the pet shop and let his pick out a toy with his teeth. A week later we had to put him down.
the new puppy is five months old and a little ****** and could never replace him and is so different in a million ways, but the house is less empty now.
