Some facts about Chow Chows are:

Chows love to sit on your feet and kiss them. Along with being a foot warmer.

If a strong-willed Chow is not paired with a dominant master, it'll do whatever it pleases and run in a sort of frenzy.

Chows were originally bred in China as fighting dogs. If you get eye level with them they take it as a sign of aggression and will attack. I did not know this and was attacked by a chow when i was 12 (i'm 21 now so 9 yrs ago), it ripped open my head, bit my shoulder, and ripped the muscle in my leg from the bone. The only thing I really have to say is be careful with chows! I love dogs and this hasn't changed my opinions, I still love them :) hope this helps.
