A doctor's young daughter dies after eating tainted meat at a fast food restaurant. He decides to investigate the incident, and he and woman discover a massive cover-up and unsanitary conditions in the meat-packing industry. Rather gruesome and a bit technical for a novel, but I like Robin Cook.
