What Is The State Bird In Pennsylvania?

Pennsylvania's state bird is the Ruffed grouse.
Male Ruffed grouse (above). Notice the neck, only the male has the prominent "ruffed" neck.
Female Ruffed grouse (below). The female has a shorter crest and tail and little to no neck ruff.
