Mbuna Cichlid is mouth brooder. During breeding, she lays eggs and deposit it at spawning site. After few eggs she pick up in her mouth. The male give sperms in her mouth. She again lays egg and the process is repeated. The fertilization and incubation take place in her mouth. It can take four weeks before the fries are spitted.
