Are There Armadillo's In Tennessee?

Yes, they are in my yard in hohenwald ,tn.  They have been in my yard for the last five years.  I have pictures.  They do not seem to be afraid of humans.  The ones in my yard are also not nocturnal, they are out all day long for hours eating, I am thinking about video-taping them in my yard, so someone can see that they are out during the day and digging up holes all over my yard.

Yes.  I live in N. Georgia, about 12 miles from Chattanooga and there was one on my deck last night.  Who'd have thunk it!

Yes, they are here. I just found one (7/28/07) killed on Highway 27 in Soddy Daisy, just north of Chattanooga.

I saw an armadillo on the way to church this morning, That is the first one I've seen here in TN, did they just migrate here, or where they relocated here by man?

Yes, Last night we found a live one in our yard. We are West of Nashville in Burns, TN. The neighbors dogs were barking at 3 a.m. About it.

Yes I found one in our pasture we live in newbern tn, I found it while riding my horses.

06-05-1965:  One was killed by a car on HWY 399 in Dunlap, Tn, about 50 miles north of Chattanooga. First one I have seen or even heard of in TN until I searched this site.

Yes, there are. Highway 14 between Memphis and Brighton area has many Armadillo road kills. This morning, 08-26-07, I passed two new kills.

I was taking my friend to the airport in Nashville in June and thought I saw one killed at about exit 24.
