Well, what you probably witnessed is the condition in dogs known as reverse sneezing. However,it actually has nothing to do with sneezing, but is a spasm caused by an irritation of the soft palate. So don't rush your dog to the vet.

My dog sounds like a pig. He was very sick with a high fever went to the vet and come back with this weird nose!! It's kindof rough and kindof warty on top and it runs all the time. It's been going on for months. He seems fine and active like always.
