About 5 or 6 weeks of estimating. Close to around 450 eggs in 1 hatch. But only around 420 will live. In an aquarium you should separate the eggs from all crayfish when they are hatched because the others will eat them. When they are about 2 or 3 weeks you can put them together again.

It takes about a week for the mother crayfish to lay her eggs and about 3 more until they hatch.

It would take 14 to 21 days, but the length period also depends upon the temperature.

I have a crawfish that is pregnant. I think she has at least 100 eggs on her or more.I had one in the past that ate her eggs. It's been about 2 weeks now since I have noticed the eggs. They are tucked under her tail and she fans them back and forth.Does anyone know what determines when they lay their eggs, or if they hatch from underneath the tail.
