I have a little baby wild rabbit here and his mother and him were separated (by a cat no doubt) and now we can't find her so we are keeping him here

It's the same concept if you were to touch a baby bird, the mother will not return to the nest.

Baby wild rabbits will not live under human care. If you are asking this question because you found a rabbit and want to help it, truth is you can't. They must have their mother's milk. Nothing else you give them will help. I wish you could help them, but you can't. I'm sorry. Please return the baby to where you found it, for it needs its mother. Before returning it, wipe it off with a towel to get your sent off of it. Thank you.

No long at all one to two days will do it they will die very easily
