They are the cutest thing. I have one. Looks a lot like a small German Shepherd, but with the attitude of a Chihuahua. Very healthy & active. Has all the Shepherd markings & is smart just like one. He is about 20 pounds & a total lush, but very protective. Pretty much the identical description stated above :)
Really cute. Has a black muzzle, pointy nose, has a shepard's head, just miniature, with round, dark eyes (looks like she's wearing eyeliner) her ears are very alert, fluffy, triangle flops that fold down just right for her head. She has a chihuahua body, but sturdy, with a curved upward pointing tail. Her fur is tan colored fur (like a deer) with white patches...I get lots of compliments on how cute she is...very, very sweet natured dog.
Well lets hope the father is the Chihuahua because it can kill the mother if she mates with something as large as a German Shepherd, not to mention the deformities it would have with is bone structure.
I can't imagine this mix ever happening as the two breeds are so different in size, would probably kill the mother to carry if she is a chihuahua and can't imagine it being the father
It's not that the two breeds were mixed.... The probability is that you have a full blooded chi that is just considered "splashed".... I have a full blooded chi that looks just like a gs..... But there is NO gs in her blood line
I've heard it is possible, the female german shepard lays down for the male chi. I have no idea what they'd look like though. I tried googling it but didn't find anything. I'd be interested to see though!
