My Dog Has Brown Flakes Coming Off Her Skin When I Brush Her. Only Near Her Rump/tail Area. What Could This Be?
I have no idea what this may be. I have a 14 year old dalmatian. She has had skin problems her entire life; however, she too started to develop these mysterious brown flakes. I did a little research and found that it might be anything from simple allergies to skin cancer. In a week or so I'm taking her to the vet. Hopefully he will have some answers.
I am looking for an answer to this question as well. I thought she got bit by something and it was just a scab, but this weeks bath, the flakes are still there and more. I can wash them off but they seem to re-appear and now they are also on her tail...
